We are a long established quality care home, privately owned and managed. The Owner/Manager is a qualified nurse and has had 35 years experience in caring for the elderly.
Comfortable Accommodation
The Belfry cares for 12 residents. All rooms are single and have en-suite facilities. We offer modern and comfortable accommodation, blending functionality with a homely atmosphere.

Our Story
The Belfry has been proudly owned and managed by sisters Deborah and Hayley since 2002. For over two decades, they have dedicated themselves to creating a warm, welcoming environment where every resident feels valued, respected, and truly at home.
Rather than expanding into a larger organisation, Deborah and Hayley have intentionally kept The Belfry as a close-knit home. This allows them to build genuine relationships with every resident, spending time with them each day and ensuring they receive the personal attention they deserve. They believe that residents, their families, and every member of staff are part of one extended family, creating a true home-from-home atmosphere.
Together, they bring decades of experience within the health and social care sector.
Deborah is a qualified Mental Health Nurse with a Diploma in Health Studies from the University of East London. She has over 30 years of experience working across both the NHS and the private healthcare sector, providing expert knowledge and compassionate leadership.
Hayley began her career supporting adults with learning disabilities before joining the NHS, where she worked for many years on an acute surgical ward. She later established and successfully ran her own healthcare recruitment business, bringing extensive management experience alongside her passion for delivering exceptional care.
Their combined expertise, hands-on approach, and genuine compassion continue to shape The Belfry into the caring, family-focused home it is today.
